This book was a childhood favorite of mine, as I'm sure it was for many, many people. Reading it as an adult, it's even more magical than it was then! This book feels like a warm hug, like sitting out in the afternoon sun on a spring day, like seeing a loved one smile again after a long stretch of sadness. It feels like coming home. I don't think I've ever read anything so delightful in all my life! I could gush about this book for hours, but I think for the sake of time, I'll stick with just this: It was magic.
