I just love K.A. Linde so freaking much! She knows how to write the angst that steals my heart. This one wasn't SUPER angsty, but it had all the right tension right where I needed it. I loved reading about a world I know nothing about (politicians and publicists and Upper Eastside Playboys). I also love how Linde chooses to write strong, independent heroines. They're so sassy and awesome to read! Plus, Court Kensington (while I was FURIOUS at him for part of this book... big dummy) was just so flippin hot. I'm going to dream about this man's bare feet thanks to one particular scene LOL. A 5 star rec from me!
