I tried. I tried so hard, and I really never could get into this book. 

It was really well written, and I was really interested in the characters, but I could not get into the spiders or the silk. I kept waiting for this big plot twist, or something big to happen, but really, it never did. It was a very slow paced book and although there were discoveries along the way, none of them really affected me emotionally other than a little bit of hope for Henry at the beginning. 

By the end, I really disliked every character in this book. Whether or not that was intentionally designed by the author, I’ll never know.
