The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho
5.0
Its a very short read, but the author really made sure to make every moment count. This story really takes you to places as if you’re part of the journey with the main character. I love that it actually teaches us something and that it’s not just a mere story. Here are some quotes that i came to like in this story:
• It's the simplest things in life that are the most extraordinary.
• We are afraid of losing what we have, whether it's our life or our possessions and property. But this fear evaporates when we understand that our life stories and the history of the world were written by the same hand.
• Everyone has his or her own way of learning things.
• Without love, one's dreams would have no meaning
• It's not what enters men's mouth that's evil, it's what comes out of their mouth that is.
