I am so so SO glad this book delivered after the disappointment of The Twyford Code. Just like with The Appeal I sat down and said "I'll just start it" and then devoured the entire book. This time I had a physical copy and marking it up with sticky notes and underlines, question marks and comments as I read felt SO satisfying, especially with the framing device provided. Can't wait to see what Janice Hallett writes next, even though I won't get to read it until 2025 at the earliest.
