This book was just what I needed right now. I've been in a reading slump so I've not been finishing books but this I got through in two very sucked in reading sessions. If I hadn't needed to do something this morning then I'd have stayed up all night to read it.

This was just such a great book and I loved Trevor and Rowan. Laila too most of the time and I was drawn into all their drama. It's right that this doesn't feel like your typical sci-fi book but it wasn't too contemporary either. You simply get drawn into the characters teenage drama just as easily as the serious stuff which is good.

It took me a while to actually get and read this book. I hope it won't take me so long to get book 2.
