I’m really enjoying this series so far and that cliffhanger is definitely making me look forward to the next book. I do enjoy a good, complex mystery that isn’t completely predictable and those are hard to find nowadays.

Brett is such an intelligent and deceptive villain that the amateurs don’t seem to be able to measure up. He even had to make an appearance and give them hints in order to get them back on his tail when they got completely lost in the middle of this one. Brett is always so many steps ahead it’s hard to believe the amateurs will ever truly catch him and get justice for their families.
