A hockey player who's getting bad press fake dates his childhood friend (who's had a crush on him forever) who needs buzz for her baking show. And of course feelings happen. This book was cute? It felt a little off. The details of the premise were weird, like Delilah has a local to Boston cooking show. And some of the 'bad headlines' for Ian felt blown wayyyy out of proportion to create drama. Also the fact that they donated a full hockey rink to an orphanage instead of like....clothes or other services was weird. But Lana Ferguson delivers on the spice so it was still enjoyable
