What an absolute gem of a book The Foul Out was. I was extremely emotionally invested in Harper and her family, as I have a sister with a daughter with ASD. This book was such a great love story because not only did Kyle fall for Harper but also her kids. I especially loved how Kyle understood how to connect with both Piper and Sam individually. Harper was such an amazing mom, doing everything she could to give her kids everything they needed. And the connection that Harper and Kyle had was fireworks, he was an hot baseball god and he wanted her more than anything. Not only was Kyle hot but he was smart (Masters in clinical psychology)! Harper was a strong independent woman who did it all on her own until Kyle came along and bulldozed his way in to her life and heart. This was is my top read of the month, it was exactly what my heart needed.
