The Girl in the Leaves
By Robert Scott
5 ⭐️

Let me begin by saying that I followed this story closely in the news. I didn’t live far from Knox County. I lived in a bordering county. This was so scary, so sad, and so unbelievable in the sense that a person could commit the acts that were committed. This book has answered many questions I had.

Robert Scott did a great job writing this True Crime Book. He was very thorough in details as well as respectful of Sarah’s privacy. This made the book an automatic 5⭐️s for me. He did a great job portraying the events without re-victomizing Sarah.

This book was a tough read for me. I’m not sure if that is because I was so wrapped up in the case as it unfolded or because the events were so horrific. Please be sure to read all the trigger warnings before you choose to read this book.

I’d like to add a side note that I am so glad that Sarah’s (and her family and neighbor’s) story has been told.
