The book was about a young girl being murdered. It ended up breaking up the family. The mother and other daughter moved away. The mom became a drunk and ended up dying. The daughter, younger sister, returned to the town to convince the town that the guy who had served in prison for her sister's death was guilty when he was finally released, wealthy family. She is a reporter and sets out to prove the facts. Lots of facts to prove. Great story. Great characters. Read it.
