I received this book in a Goodreads giveaway in exchange for a fair review. I have read a few of this author's books and was excited to have a go at this one. It started off slow for me, well past my 100 page rule. In fact, this lasted for more than 3/4 of the book. I didn't find myself even cheering for the "good guys"...until I did. The twist was revealed, the action heated up and I was happy with the ending, which is not always the same as a happy ending, but more important, I feel, as a reader. I am glad I stuck with it and look forward to reading more by Linwood Barclay!
