I’m gonna rate this batsh*t sports book 5 stars and you can’t stop me. (Ok, 4.7 stars, there’s the Japanese crime lord stereotypes and Nora should’ve stuck with the original MMM storyline… but I digress.) I understand the cult following and brain rot. I’m all for this insane gay sports action-romance. Definitely check trigger warnings, especially for the second book.

If you’re curious about the high intensity and homoeroticism of… *checks notes* …lacrosse, but want the grittiness of HBO, the camp of CW, and baffling high stakes of a Japanese sports anime, look no further.
