This was an absolute amazing story. I kept waffling between who I suspected the killer was and boy was I wrong. Close, but wrong. To me that’s great because that meant the story wasn’t a predictable “who done it”. The twists and turns were great as everything began to unfold.

As far as Dakota & Shane’s love story, that too was very well written. I absolutely adored Dakota and how he was all in with his plans to build a life with Shane after graduation; especially when he had it all planned out & written down to show how serious he was and the lengths he’d go to, to be with Shane even if it meant they’d have to hide what they meant to each other during Shane’s college & potential football career. It broke my heart when Shane broke Dakota’s heart. When he handed Shane that piece of paper showing all his plans only for Shane to break up with him. Oh, my heart.

Overall another amazing story written by Tal Bauer. Highly recommend! Can’t wait to read another.
