You know when you just pick up a book at random and then absolutely fall in love? That's how I feel about this book.

Heroine Complex is a hilarious superhero novel that not only has great action but reads almost like a chick-lit novel. Only with some smut. This book had me hooked from the get go from its world building to its great cast of characters to its romance. Everything about it was wonderful I couldn't put it down.

Oh and I should totally add that there's a sing-off, yep, it's like a cosplay skit made real and I frigging adore it.

I need to get book 2 as soon as possible, I just hope Aveda's just as much of an endearing narrator as Evie.
