This book has been getting pretty low ratings, but I actually really enjoyed it. I think people are going into it expecting something very different than what it is. Think sci-fi meets domestic thriller.

I have seen many people compare this to The Push, but they aren't even really comparable. This has nothing to do with evil children or malicious mothers. This is more akin to Dark Matter, so if you liked that book but are looking for something with a female perspective, a little less action, and a little bit of anthropology thrown in - this is the book for you. I thoroughly enjoyed it!
