I wish the backstory and current story had been split into two different books, or at least been seperated out, because the uneven back-and-forth gave me whiplash. It feels like this author was so insistent on making this series a trilogy that she stuffed so much content into this last book. Besides it’s gonna turn into a four book saga anyway cuz she NEEDS to tell us what Rachel has been up to and how shes currently doing.
