Savage Temptation by Stephanie Amaral

5.0

Thank you, Stephanie Amaral, for granting me an ARC.

I went into this blind, not knowing what to expect and I totally fell in love with this book. I loved the depth behind the FMC, Jamie. She handled many of the conflicts throughout this book in a very relatable fashion and I loved her vulnerability. I loved how she navigated the entire situation with the MMC, Liam. Even with the instant attraction between the two of them, the buildup of their relationship and the tension between them was very believable and well-thought out.

The twists and turns of the story kept me on the edge of my seat, waiting for what would happen next. My favorite part of the book was watching Liam's growth throughout the novel and seeing his inner conflict play out between who he believed he was vs. who Jamie and the others around him knew him to be. I loved how he slowly began to embrace his sensitive side towards the end of the novel and how he realized the two parts of his identity could co-exist.

Overall, this was a five star read for me and I can't wait for the next book in the series.
