Only a fool could be in love with death. 

A beautiful little tragedy featuring a fearless woman falling prey to a man's fragile ego, but isn't that the common trend in all Greek stories?

If pride comes before a fall was a person, it would be this king.

Also, I might argue that Oedipus' life was marred by tragedy, over and over again, to his next generation.
