The Lovely: I loved how the FMC’s relationship with the pack develops and how they treat her. She’s scared and insecure, and sometimes so are the alphas, as they all try to come to terms with their abusive pasts. Despite their sometimes stumbles you can feel the love they have for each other.

Also Lovely: I also loved the underlying plot with a sinister villain (ok, perhaps plural) that poses a threat to the FMC and the pack. This amps up the emotional stakes for everyone involved, as well as the tension going forward.

Recommendation: Book one ends on a dramatic cliffhanger so I will be starting book two immediately. The sweet alphas made this a wonderful, comforting read as I recovered from surgery. Not only will I be finishing this series, I will be looking for more from this author.
