If you're a fan of the "just once and get it out of our systems" trope then this is the book for you. It's absolutely laughable when romance characters say that but the journey we watch Charlie and Nova go through is totally worth it. 

I really love Charlie. I hate that he has so much family drama and so many work headaches but I love how much he loves Nova's town.

Nova is an absolutely brilliant tattoo artist. We've known this all along. But to learn more about her process is really neat. And it's neat to see throughout this series the number of tattoos she's given increase. 

The drama filled Gilmore Girls type town would drive me insane in real life but it is so fun in this series. I'm glad Charlie loves his adopted town so much. 

Oh and this one is steamy. I have two words for you: text messages.
