It somehow took me this long (12%) to realize that this is a Romeo & Juliet retelling (this despite the title, the quote at the beginning, AND one of the character's being named Juliette, my only excuse is that I was listening to it and not reading it with my eyes). I was feeling pretty meh about the story so far and just don't really feel like reading a questionably done YA R&J retelling with monster magic right now. I'm also completely spoiled by The Green Bone Saga for anything gang related, so I'm going to just pass on this one.
