I was so excited when I found out [a:Louise Rennison|65189|Louise Rennison|http://photo.goodreads.com/authors/1217261779p2/65189.jpg] was coming out with a new series. To this day I LOVE the Georgia Nicholson stories and re-read them all the time. I was expecting this new book to be very repetitive of the Georgia series (like how the later books in the series recycled a lot of jokes), but was pleasantly suprised that it wasn't. The characters are different and situations are, too. I found myself laughing out loud numerous time throughout this first installation.
If you are a fan of the Georgia books, definitely check this out - not too similar, but has that great humor we've come to love them for.
