Ok so this book was far from perfect. The first 200 pages (almost a third of the book) absolutely dragged for me and I couldn’t stand the MC. I started this book in April and just finished almost 5 months later. However, I loved the last 2/3s of the book. Several times I found myself smiling at the characters and chuckling at their insults and banter. This was the slowest of slow burns, but the burn in the end was preeeeeetty worth it. So 4 stars for surprising me and becoming very enjoyable at the end. 

I also pictured Tom Sturridge (Dream from Sandman) as Boreas, which greatly enhancing my reading experience lol.
