Nin's Spy Redux
A review of the Sky Blue Press eBook (March 11, 2010) of the original hardcover [b:A Spy in the House of Love|133781809|A Spy in the House of Love|Anaïs Nin|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1694799637l/133781809._SX50_.jpg|624215] (1954).

I read this in parallel with the Estonian edition just to be sure that I was understanding the text correctly. I found the Estonian to be more difficult to understand than usual, due to the stream of consciousness style and the extended paragraphs and no-chapter breaks.

I did enjoy the extended introduction in this "Authoritative Edition" which provided a cast of characters listing which identified the real-life people behind the fiction. So at least there was a key to this roman à clef.

The cover on my edition was completely different from the one displayed on Goodreads, although they share the same ASIN number.
