The Richard Castle books are definitely guilty pleasures... the plot rides along like a double-length episode of Castle, and the characters are familiar. Who wouldn't want to conjure Nathan Fillion for 400 pages worth of cold, wintry nights? This was my Christmas Eve Book from the family this year and made for a good vacation murder-mystery.
