Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K. Rowling

5.0

5*

Giving another 5 because the previous 2 books got 5 as well. And, I LOVED reading this one so much. So many details I had actually forgotten from my first read so many years ago that the movie doesn't have at all. What a shame. When you think you know the story by heart... you really, really don't.

Crookshanks has a much grander part in the story. I'll be forever sad that Peeves never was included in any of the movies because he's a hoot. The whole ending being on the train with Sirius's mail to harry and Ron getting to keep the owl! Much better than harry flying the broomstick, for sure!!

Anyway, enough with book vs. movie.

This is where the story darkens more for Harry and it will not let on until the end of Deathly Hallows. Everything that had happened before was to be taken seriously but this is where you really can't brush anything off or lift your nose over it.

I have absolutely nothing to say except that I am aw'ed by J.K. Rowling's writing and all the ideas she's gotten to write this world and the characters. What more can I say that hasn't been said before over the years? I'm just... WOW!!
