A superb finale for an excellent trilogy (books one and two). It follows the pattern of the first two books while breaking new ground and letting the third sibling take her turn as primary. There is wondrous adventure, character complexity, weight and depth, moments of humor, real fear, real loss, and real love. There is magic, war, death, familial love, romantic love, racial conflict, instantaneous travel, time travel, dimensional travel, and so much more. It is a personal and intimate epic that is most fun and most deserving of many readers. Highly recommended.
