I put off reading this for a while (by no fault of the book) so it took me a while to get the names back in order. There are quite a lot of them so it can be more than a bit disorienting. They eventually did fall in line though and I was able to enjoy myself.
I thought it was a very sweet story and while I wouldn’t consider it enemies to lovers (thank god!), I do think it’s a very contentious romance, which I enjoyed. They “brought out the worst” in each other and yet still found something worth loving which I think was beyond precious. Not all love stories have to fit the same mold and I think Lindsey is great at challenging those typical constructs. I’m looking forward to reading more by them.
