The Housemaid by Freida McFadden
5.0
Well I'm definitely glad that I read that. What a great thriller. I'm definitely gonna read the sequel. Full review to come.
Full review: "The Housemaid" follows 27 year old Millie. Millie, is living in her car, and desperately needs a job. When she interviews for a live-in housemaid job with the wealthy Winchester's she thinks she's finally going to be okay. But the wife, Nina seems to be insane, and Millie finds herself increasingly attracted to the husband, Andrew. What Nina and Andrew don't know though is that Millie has a secret. And Millie is not someone to mess around with.
I loved Millie. You find out what her secret is quite clearly, but the rest of the twists about her take a while to come. And I loved loved loved how McFadden chose to reveal what was really going on. I don't know if I would have done what one character did, but I get why they did what they did.
The plot was great, the flow was too and I found myself imagining the Winchester's big home with the attic that Millie lived in.
The ending was definitely a shocker and I have to say that book #2 did not disappoint.
