Now I feel more in the Christmas spirit! Wow what an ending to a brilliant little book about the imagined Christmas that Dickens wrote the best book in the world!

Full of the sights and smells of Christmas right to the last, it shows Boz as a Scrooge like character who comes good in the end.

I've never wanted to go to a theatre more than I do now, to watch Dickens read A Christmas Carol on Christmas Eve! The atmosphere is so beautifully written, that it feels like you are actually there!

I highly recommend this as your first christmassy read of the year!
