I feel like the last sentence of the epilogue was a driving factor behind the ideas of this book, it works a little too perfectly but that’s not a bad thing. Overall, as a dark romance it’s not as dark as some, far less so than haunting/hunting Adeline. Hook was harsh and morally grey in all the right areas, and it gave Wendy a backbone while staying true to her inner source character. A fun, spicy read!
