A Remarkable Rogue by Anna Harrington

4/5

Thank you to Net Galley and Sourcebooks for this e-ARC in exchange for an honest review!

I really enjoyed this book! I have only read this one and the previous instalment in the series, but this was by far my favourite of the two.

I loved our two protagonists Sydney and Nate and how complex their individual pasts were. The chemistry between the two of them was OFF THE CHARTS and I was dying for them to get together!!

Going into this, I wasn't entirely sure how I was going to feel about the plot as I found the previous book to be a little slow-paced at times. I was happily surprised, however, by this one; this book was more 'suspenseful romance' than straight historical romance, which is totally fine, but not something I usually gravitate towards. Although it took a bit longer for our couple to finally get together, the wait was so worth it because Harrington's writing of their intimate moments was INCREDIBLE. IN-CRE-DI-BLE. My only complaint was that I wanted moooore!

If you're looking for a romance with political intrigue, espionage, sizzling heat, and complex characters, I urge you to give Anna Harrington's 'A Remarkable Rogue' a try! :)
