I loved “The Guest List”, but like “The Paris Apartment” “The Midnight Feast” disappointed me. The villain felt like a caricature, and overall the plot felt gimmicky. I did enjoy the English countryside setting and the window into English culture. This book was entertaining and fine, but nothing to write home about.
