I didn't feel this did enough to highlight how cruel it is to capture wild animals and then force them to fight to the death for the purpose of entertainment and profit. Zarela doesn't see anything wrong with her family's business, and her reason for changing things is never that what she was doing was cruel. Arturo says he hates dragon fighting but he seems complicit through his actions.

I liked the story well enough but I wanted the dragons to kill all the dragonadors so they could lead a peaceful life.
