This book was so good and I shouldn't be surprised because it's Queen Leigh after all. Of course this is the second one in a duology that's already a spin-off series, and it was wonderful. The world still feels so developed and I loved the different places we went in this installment. I loved the writing and it's a classic combo of heartfelt emotional moments and light-hearted, witty ridiculousness. Above all, I love these characters. While I originally thought this duology's main focus was Nikolai, I was delighted to be proved wrong. He is my favorite blonde character, but there was so much growth for Zoya and Nina as well. I enjoyed the alternating POV's and I loved seeing some familiar faces. There were some twists and turns in this one and I was on the edge of my seat. I couldn't stop reading and I'm so glad I finally read this.
