Wild, Beautiful, and Free by Sophfronia Scott

Oh this book. When the book first started out I really did feel so close to this character and finding her own self and all the things that she's been through. I thought this book was exceptionally written. It detailed so much of her life and of the struggles that she faced as a mixed race woman and I found the story to be beautiful, sad, special, moving, and it was written so eloquently. I cannot spoil this book or this story for future readers. But what I can do is implore you to read this book. To feel the Elton in the writing and to sit with the uncomfortable parts.
