Who knew a book about robots could hold so many beautiful truths about humanity. This Pinocchio inspired story is magical and carries TJ Klune’s signature ability to write heartwarming found families and fantastical yet accurate queer representation. The messages about mortality, forgiveness, love, and our capacity to do good are so poignant and perfectly done. All the characters are lovely, but I especially loved the side characters Nurse Ratched and Rambo as they had me constantly cracking up. Highly underrated and I highly recommend!
