The premise of the book is interesting. The main character, Rosa, is the a tough as nails badass who heal things like “eat my vag!” The book is set in Scotland while incorporating Zimbabwean magic. While the book was cool, it didn’t hold my attention. I will chalk that to my tolerance for YA sci-fi/ fantasy. I did give it to my daughter to read and she LOVES the book so, may be it just me.
