Hot Solar by Anthony C. Robinson
5.0
This sequel was, quite possibly, better than the first book. There was plenty of action and tension as Bowen temporarily sided with the enemy in order to find out the truth about his mother and what happened to her. Each of Bowen's friends - Low, Vladimir, Joanna, Elaina, and Megan - got thrust into his/her own adventure of self-discovery. Allies were made, betrayals occurred, and epic battles were fought. The author's understanding of swordsmanship was displayed once again as Bowen practiced with his new weapon and wore Solar Knight armour for the first time. Now I have to wait for the third book and it'll be a tough wait.
