Ms. Marvel Vol. 2: Generation Why by G. Willow Wilson

4.0

You gotta stay light on your feet. Know who your friends are. And never be afraid to ask for help.

This is such a cute read.
I was browsing the national library's overdrive and this was a pleasant surprise. It is juvenile but the message is sweet. I mean, every superhero get the warning that they shouldn't shoulder the burden alone, yada3 but then they get hurt and then finally at the end they learn their lesson. This one just take one step further, teach teens self worth, be it appearance wise or how they're not taking up space, that they deserve to live.

Reading this while the issue of #makeschoolasaferplace is going on makes you feel for teens who just want a place in this world, that they want to be heard and it's hard enough for them to juggle schoolwork, social life and gaining a footing in this world. As adults, we shouldn't make it harder for them.
