This book really packed a punch for such a short read. It was a tender, heartbreaking love letter that also explores the weight of political decisions on vulnerable people in society. Excited to read more from this author.
“For the ruling class, in general, politics is a question of aesthetics: a way of seeing themselves, of seeing the world, of constructing a personality. For us it was life or death”.
