This was my first book by Tijan, so I didn't know what to expect. Obvs a college hockey romance... but what I got was so much more. This was a very emotional read, and I don't tend to be overly emotional (Black Hearts Club, amiright?). But something about the intensity of this one... I almost cried at one point, and it's not often I can say that. (Listen, I said almost, I'm still in good standing in the BHC.) The hockey was minimal in terms of actual game play and what not, but we did see a lot of the hockey house and some of Cruz's teammates.
