Midnight's Children by Salman Rushdie

5.0

Having lain slack-jawed and stupefied on my bed for the previous twenty minutes or so, I do believe I have been Rushdied! Through surging tears felled at the confounding beauty of this magnificent novel, I feel that writing a review of Midnight's Children borders on the felonious. In all sincerity, if you've ever wondered how spine-tinglingly magical language and imagination can be, read this and your literary life will never be the same again. This is literally, literary sorcery! Magical Realism at its finest. Incredible!
