Finally. I finally finished this disaster of a book which apparently helped a lot of people into reading but almost had me in a permanent reading slump.
You know, I get it, this is a great first read for someone who is used to watching romcoms and Netflix series, but that's all it is to me. The book even reads like a script to a holiday romcom.The only part that I liked was the story of Atlas and Lily. Everything else was a bit too perfect for me. I'm sorry but no rich people work for free, no 15-year-old writes letters like that and no handsome neurosurgeons change their minds about relationships that fast.
Thank god I allowed myself to just skim over the final chapters instead of reading everything with attention to detail. I can now say I didn't DNF this book and get on with my life.
