Loved this book. A great writer and interesting and funny. Kept me reading when I could. Scottie gets inbolved with solving a murder and mixed feelings with 2 men, 1 her high school friend and the other a newly moved to town, an author in Gramby manor. She's going to open a bakery in her hometown of Ripple Creek in an old rundown building. She left the guy she was suppose to marry came to her senses. The ex mother to be in law keeps wanting her to pay for wedding stuff that she did not want, a total control lady like her son. A clean new beginning at home with her Nana who is an artist and straight forward lady. She does have a huge trust fund from her parents left her when they died, so she's going open the bakery. Her next door business lady also moved here and owns a bookstore. (post 2020 stroke review)
