I honestly didn't enjoy the book. it had so much potential, yet had barely any plot. They talked like they were trying to act older but were pick-me girls. Almost none of the main conflicts get resolved.
One of the biggest was between the mom and the dad over infertility and the mother's state of mind through the summer. It's understandable to not get resolved in one summer, but I had expected the child to have been told or to get more on the matter. It
was underwhelming in writing quality, but I did enjoy the art.
