I always cite this as my favorite book, and on re-read it did not disappoint. So dark and hauntingly mysterious, with the perfect creepy setting, the ideal flawed and secretive characters, and the central mystery that takes the entirety of the book to unpack. I love it—the suspense, the drama, the mystery, and the emotional depth.
