Dr Tisby writes like a true historian and an expert teacher. He is both gentle and hard-hitting. As I read his book, I learned many new things and was motivated towards change, but I never felt attacked or put down. It's good for anybody to read, but it's main goal is to reveal how the American church has been complicit in racism. I highly recommend reading it.
