Reading this book in my late twenties is weird. I am transported to my teen years but with the brain capacity of an adult. Like I fell in love with Jem Carstairs in the book vs how I fell for Will when I originally read it. Something about his presence and his story really drew me in.  

I also LOVE future Jem like sooo much. He is my Roman Empire.

 I also payed more attention to the different story elements of the book. I still love Tessa and still feel a deep connection to her personally.
